HOW TO GET THERE
GETTING TO MUSTIQUE
You should book flights to St Lucia (or Barbados at weekends in peak season only - please check). British Airways and Virgin both have regular direct flights. Most flights arrive in the early afternoon and you take a connecting plane to Mustique. There is a daily scheduled service from St. Lucia which costs approx. US$260 each way, per person. Or you can charter your own plane. Please check availability before booking your international flights. Planes cannot land in Mustique after sunset, so, if your flight is very delayed you might have to stay the night in St.Lucia or Barbados. You should ensure that you include in your hand baggage overnight things, any medication and swimwear just in case your luggage gets delayed. Don't worry, it will usually follow you to Mustique the next day!
ARRIVAL AT ST LUCIA OR BARBADOS
In St. Lucia, you will see someone with your name on a board who will direct you through immigration, to the luggage carousel and then the desk where you fill in your immigration forms and clear St. Vincent immigration before boarding the plane, thus saving time when you land in Mustique.
At Barbados, you will see someone outside the arrivals hall holding your name on a board, who will direct you. There is no need to go through immigration as you are 'in transit’, however you still have to fill out the immigration form they give you on the plane. The airline will find your luggage for you and ask you to wait.
On arrival in Mustique, Colbert will meet you at the airport and take you up to the house. If for any reason, nobody is there, dial the staff at the house on 8570.
GETTING AROUND THE ISLAND
Grasshopper has a vehicle for your use which are called Mules. These are like beach buggys.
Anyone who wants to drive must bring their Driving Licence and buy a Mustique Driving Licence on arrival at the airport. Or you can buy one in advance through the Mustique Company.
